Hi Namasee Ganguly, who are you?

- I am Namasee Ganguly, an Indian expat living in Sweden since 2016. I am an Integration Developer/Architect by profession and a cook by passion. My philosophy in life is to leave behind a positive impact on the people I meet, to be kind and most importantly, to have fun.

What do you do at Apoteket and what made you want to work here?

- At Apoteket, I primarily work in the integration team (TIP) as an Integration Developer and System Architect. Apoteket is one of the most prominent and well trusted pharmaceutical brands of Sweden. As a company we focus a lot on quality and sustainability and that is something I found very attractive when I started researching about Apoteket before my recruitment. It feels good to be associated with a company that cares for the people and the environment.

A lot is happening within Tech - can you give us an example of something that you are extra proud of?

- Currently, I am working to help integrate our new warehouse system (which is being setup in Eskilstuna) into our IT framework. This is a big change for Apoteket as it will help us take ownership of the e-commerce operation. The journey has been challenging at times but has also helped us as a company, to grow and learn. I am very proud to be a part of this journey with Apoteket and cannot wait till the first order gets fulfilled from our new warehouse.

What do you think is the most fun part of your job?

- For me, the most fun part has been taking part in the solutioning process, working together with solution and other system architects, understanding how business flows work and most importantly how the code we build helps people all across Sweden.

And a final question, when was the last time you were kind?

- I think one is often the most unkind with oneself, so recently I have been trying to be more kind to myself. Just today, I reminded myself to not stress over being unable to fix a bug immediately and to enjoy attending the team fika instead.
